What happens
The idea is a Christmas party in 1877, hosted as if by the Nichols family, the first owners of the house. The listing describes horse-drawn wagon rides, traditional Christmas decorations and homemade sorghum Christmas cookies. The house itself is a white Italianate mansion with a rooftop cupola, beside red farm buildings on a wide lawn.

Tickets and hours
Victorian Christmas is a special evening event, separate from the farm’s normal daytime tours. The Georgia State Parks page for Hardman Farm lists regular hours of 10 AM to 4 PM and is the place to check prices and any reservation requirement for the Christmas evenings. The site’s phone number there is 706-878-1077.
Pairing it with Helen
Hardman Farm sits a short drive south of downtown Helen on Highway 17, so it fits neatly around a day in the village. On Saturday, December 5 you can shop the Christmas Market in the morning and arrive at the farm when it opens at 4 PM. On December 12 the farm’s hours overlap the 6 PM parade, so choose Friday the 11th for the farm if you want both.
Dates can change. The organisers have the final word: Helen Chamber of Commerce events
